• Now a household name as a DJ, Spun is concentrating on building his portfolio which already includes production work for Twitch Recordings and EAC. His first release for Siesta comes at a time when the label is receiving huge support from DJs across the spectrum, from Doc Martin to John Digweed. The past few releases from H-Foundation (aka Halo and Hipp-E) have given Spun the platform from which to propel himself into the premier league. You can feel the tequila inspired madness of “DJ Spun Eats The Worm,” with its deep, hypnotic and semi-psychedelic qualities.

Spun, along with partner Ben Cook, founded the trailblazing Rong Music in 2003 as a means of releasing their own style-bending, genre-blending music as well as the output of likeminded friends and peers with a spate of releases from such far afi eld artists as jazz great Chico Hamilton, Mudd, Chicken Lips, Woolfy, and Freeblood.

Spun played HAHA earlier this year in March on the Mardi Gras weekend at The Blue Room.

After party @ Mandarin Club with Jimi James (Mad Racket), Jeremy Baker (HAHA) & Biz (Cliq/Machine Muzik)

Talk about a storm, Vince Watson rocked our fair Lady Rose on Sydney Harbour with his mighty blend of techno. If you were aboard that night, you know very well what we mean! Both Vince and Mother Nature rocked out that night with lightning, storms and techno – a moment not to be forgotten.

Big shout out to Vince and Soma, Djs on the night – Mad Racket & guests, Biz, Glitch Djs (Minimal Fuss), Future Classic and the HAHA crew…and of course; you!

  • Burning Man Festival

Every year, tens of thousands of participants gather to create Black Rock City in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, dedicated to self-expression, self-reliance, and art as the center of community. They leave one week later, having left no trace.

HAHA’s Dave Fernandes along with MODIFI (aka Mike Tosetto) will be attending the week long arts and music festival with a stack of tunes. Photos to come.
