D&D’s Beat Ballroom – Sydney Fringe Festival 2012
From the initial D&D’s Soup Kitchen to D&D’s Beat Kitchen, D&D (HAHA) now return once again for an ultra special three week run of audio & visual sessions to compliment this year’s Sydney Fringe Festival program.
Set off Newtown’s beaten track and inside one of the finest spaces around, complete with hard wood floors and ornately vaulted ceilings, D&D bring you their ‘Beat Ballroom’.
HAHA DJ’s Dave Fernandes and Dean Dixon will delve deeply into their vast record collections to deliver another “VINYL ONLY” series of dj sets ranging from low slung soundscapes & dub, through on up to beats and left field electronica.
‘D&D’s Beat Ballroom’ will be in full swing in the heart of the Festival Hub bar until midnight every Thursday evening throughout the entire Fringe Festival.
For this special occasion they’ve invited a special guest artist down with them each week to fill the space with a visual array of stimuli to keep your eyes busy along with your feet!
